Conference hotel and rates

Our conference hotel is the Hilton Eugene & Conference Center. We are pleased to note the Eugene Hilton is in the final stages of "Greening" and have applied for "Green Seal Certification". They are making progress in this endeavor. See their announcement in the hotel lobby.

Our conference room rate is valid for two days before and after the conference (April 25-May 1, 2008). Reservations must be made no later than Friday, March 28, 2008 to obtain the conference room rate. Reservations made after this date are subject to space and rate availability. There are a limited number of rooms available at this rate so be sure to make your reservation early.

When you register online, your reservation confirmation states that the hotel charges $7.00 for self parking but parking is complementary for all attendees during the conference. We will validate your parking ticket at the conference registration desk.

How to make a reservation

If your reservation is being handled as part of a group, we sent you a notification of that arrangment. If you are not notified and believe you should be included in one of the groups, please contact Leslie Finlay.

Otherwise you must make your own reservation using the following procedure

• Use the Hilton online reservation form specifically for our conference and using its room rates.
• By phone or fax, contact the Hilton at 1-541-342-2000 or via Fax at 1-541-342-6661. Tell the reservation office you are registering as an attendee of the "Oregon Parenting Education and Support Conference '08".  A credit card number or a 1 room night advance deposit will be required to secure a room as part of our conference room block.

A limited number of rooms for guests with special needs, in accordance with the ADA, are available. Please contact the hotel reservations department at 1-541-342-2000 to confirm your arrangements.

Any reservation canceled within 48 hours of arrival will be charged one night’s room and tax.
